The Blue Taj

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had since I’ve been in India itself. The wait staff was very attentive and the timing of when our order was taken and when the food came out … and every other aspect of the service was perfect. I highly recommend this hidden gym down in Ballantyne.

Oh my goodness, best Indian food in Ballantyne; and that is saying something, because there are a lot of Indian restaurants in Ballantyne. This one stands out for its decor, atmosphere, service, and, most importantly, the food. The location is sort of tucked away, but it is right next to a parking deck, so parking is plentiful, despite its location in a busy shopping center.

First time visiting but won’t be the last. After living in the UK for 12 years we were so happy to find a great Indian restaurant of this calibre right in our neighborhood. Food was outrageous and our server, Andrew was great! We will become regulars for sure!

I placed a rather large order for takeout yesterday. The online ordering process was so simple. I added all of the dishes, indicated the spice level, which I was a little nervous about because I was ordering for kids too, and scheduled the pickup for a specific time. When I went to the restaurant, the food was all packaged perfectly and ready to go by the door for me -- much appreciated! Everything was DELICIOUS and I am already looking forward to going back again soon. Highly recommend!

We love coming here because the service is always fantastic and the food is out of this world. Tonight was no exception. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated quickly. Our server Kuldip took exceptional care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. Everything on the menu is delicious. We started with the sesame chili cauliflower appetizer and then enjoyed chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and raita. We happily stuffed our faces. I recommend Blue Taj for the great location, excellent service, and wonderful food. If you want quality Indian cuisine, look no further.

My boys and I love your food!! It’s so delicious and all the ingredients are fresh. In addition, the staff from waitress/waiters to hostess to managers are all very nice and professional. Thank you for being such a wonderful restaurant!!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant! Love the atmosphere, impeccably clean, the food is consistently amazing and so fresh! The service is top notch! Andrew always provides great service and this such a pleasure to come here to eat! He is very attentive , friendly, polite, describes the dishes beautifully! I can’t say enough about the food and all the people that work at Blue Taj!

Had an amazing dinner at Blue Taj in Charlotte! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish deserves a full 5 stars. Special thanks to Punnu Singh, the owner, Sukhpreet and Harvinder for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made the experience with family memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic flavors from India and warm service!
